Here are some answers to questions I've been getting about the puppy in my last post:
The puppy is not mine. He belongs to a private home health aide for a Menorah park resident who used to live here. They still visit here often and she was kind enough to bring him and let me hold him, much to my obvious delight. Not that you can tell from the photo. She also let's the residents pet him.
The puppy is eight weeks old (in this photo. They grow up so fast, don't they?) and is a Boykin Spaniel. (Yes, "Boykin" sounds Yiddish to me, too.)
The puppy's name is Zinny.
That's all I got for this one. Sometimes, all it takes is the opportunity to hold a puppy to make one's day.
But, while I'm at it, let me remind you that April 29th we will have a "Pooch Parade." If you have a well behaved, housebroken dog, we'd love for you to bring him or her in that day at 3:00. Just call or write and let me know so I have an idea of how many dogs to expect. Thanks!
