Congrats to Larry and David!

Two of our managers received major awards. Congratulations to Larry Betlejewski, our Director of Environmental Services, and David Walker, our Dietary Manager, each received the Ohio Assisted Living Association Honoring Excellence Award for outstanding work in their respective fields.

New Years - Part 2

Well, the Ivy Room (our activities room) is getting a makeover and will be closed for about 2 weeks. Many of our activities have been moved to the Bluebell Room on the 3rd floor for the duration of the work. So far, so good! Residents are finding us, and everyone is dealing well with all of the temporary changes to our schedule. It'll be over before we know it, and, to paraphrase Gloria Gaynor, we will survive! (OK, put on your disco pants and get ready to boogie)

I just realized that we reached a milestone. Yesterday's post was our 100th! And we only just started blogging in May. I'm looking for close to 200 posts for the entirety of 2011.
