2 Blog Posts in One!

Catching up on some blogging here. May was a busy month (and June shows no signs of slowing down).

We had the great good fortune to be able to celebrate another 100th birthday at Stone Gardens. The newly formed campus-wide Platinum Club met here to celebrate one hundred years for Rose Rosen. She's the one in the middle, and she's only 136 years younger than the guy on the left.

(BTW, the woman in the pic above, just to the left of Uncle Sam, will be 101 this June.)

Mmmmmm...Chocolate Fountain.

Congratulations Rose! We love throwing parties!

New Topic:
The Cleveland Indians.

The whole campus celebrated our first place Cleveland Indians (well, they were in first place for a minute) with a party at Wiggins Place, and then going to a game two days later.

One of our residents won tickets for a game.

The team's mascot Slider paid a visit.

Bob DiBiasio, the Indians' Senior Vice President of Public Relations, spoke, answered questions, and gave away prizes.

Jenna looks tired. Look at the dark circles under her eyes.

Tracy, giving me the...well, never mind.

At the game:

Below: All of Menorah Park gives me the... well, you know.

Steve Raichilson enjoys the game...on his Blackberry.

And here is the most ridiculous looking representative of a professional organization that I've ever seen. And he's standing next to a guy in a costume.

(Um, my out here is that I didn't specify which one, right? Right? I don't have an out here, do I?)
